About Briercrest Christian Academy

Located in Caronport, Saskatchewan, Briercrest Christian Academy (BCA) is part of a three-school institution including Briercrest College and Seminary. BCA has been an integral part of Briercrest College and Seminary for over 70 years. As an associate school within the Prairie South School Division, BCA is able to offer the best of public education with fully-accredited teachers and curriculum while also providing a private Christian school experience with pastoral staff and discipleship programs.

BCA is a Christ-centred community dedicated to developing students spiritually and intellectually for lives of service. We offer a supportive environment to grow academically and personally through education, mentorship, and a biblical foundation. Briercrest prepares students to impact their churches, communities, and workplaces.

“We believe in providing the highest level of education while ensuring our kids are ready for real-life. We invest and believe in them. We want them to be champions in life.”

— DR. MICHAEL PAWELKE, PRESIDENT, BRIERCREST COLLEGE AND SEMINARY

Discipleship at BCA

As a body of learning, we see discipleship as part of each student's journey of faith and career preparation -not just a destination point. Our schools share a commitment to train students to seek the kingdom of God, to be shaped profoundly by the Scriptures, and to be formed spiritually and intellectually for lives of service. What's so unique? Well, we get to blend the best of both worlds in many ways.

DISCIPLESHIP

As each of these five marks is known, valued, and lived out, a disciple can imitate Christ.

These five marks can be seen in our student body, especially in daily chapels, small groups, discipleship in dorms, and outreach opportunities.

You can read more about the 5 Marks of Discipleship here.

Athletics

Briercrest Christian Academy provides competitive athletic teams that give students and coaches the opportunity to integrate their spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical development.

We know that athletics are significant to learning essential values, developing personal and team leadership skills, and building character and resilience.

At BCA, we encourage students to work hard and excel on the court, field, and track. Our teams have seen significant success over the years. More than that, our athletic program encourages students to grow as followers of Jesus both on and off the court.
